Beautiful
I ordered a large according to Amazon's suggestion, and was surprised that it fits so well. I usually wear medium in most other brands. I am about a size 31 waist in pants. The suit is very well made and the liner material is thicker than most and very soft and comfortable. It has drawstrings that allow a good adjustment. There is plenty of room in the front without feeling baggy. The available patterns are wonderfully unusual and eye-catching. These compare to the high-end brand Parke & Ronin, which are much much more expensive. A great buy at this price!
I'm a regular lap swimmer, so I'm used to wearing swim briefs. The cut of this is about average for recreational swimmers looking to maintain their skills. I find it curious that some suits offered by this brand in size Large are tighter, while this one is looser. Notably, it is 'Leisure Fit' which I interpret as 'Relaxed Fit'. Plenty of space in the front so you don't feel crammed in. Comfortable fitment all around, including the leg openings and the stretchy waist which offers rubber-tipped drawstring closure. The front is lined with a soft, smooth material and the back is unlined. I do wish these were offered in larger sizes.Stylistically, fitment and comfort-wise this suit hits it out of the park in most ways. However, I have removed two stars because of the very substantial difference between the listing ad photos and the swimsuit I received. The photos on Amazon show clear, crisp images of patches of material sewn together. Thread and individual stitches are visible. It looks great. The swimsuit I received is blurry, out of focus and it's hard to make out what the swimsuit is all about. The thread and stitches are unreadable, even when looking closely. So disappointing. One other thing I noticed was that the size tag located on the inside waistline is noticeable when wearing. Another avoidable blunder.
I already own several swim briefs from this brand, and overall I’ve consistently been impressed with the quality. These are a little different from some of the others I own because they offer slightly more coverage, which honestly makes them feel a little easier to wear casually.Personally, I mostly use swim briefs like these underneath board shorts instead of the built-in mesh liners that many swim trunks come with. A lot of board shorts don’t even include liners anymore, and I find swim briefs much more comfortable anyway. The quality on these feels very solid. The material is comfortable, the stitching looks good, and this pair also includes an internal drawstring, which I always appreciate for getting the fit dialed in properly. There’s also a front liner built in, which helps them feel a little more substantial and comfortable while wearing. On the back there’s a small metal brand tag detail that gives them a slightly more premium/stylish look. For sizing reference, I’m around a 34” waist and ordered the large. I definitely would not have wanted to go larger, and I possibly could have even sized down depending on how snug I wanted the fit. That said, the large is completely wearable, especially because the drawstring helps customize the fit.I also have fairly athletic/thicker thighs, and I appreciated that the leg openings were comfortable without digging in or squeezing my legs too tightly. They still fit properly and stayed in place, just without the overly tight thigh openings that some swim briefs can have. The Lunar Leopard print also looks really good in person. It has more of a modern abstract animal-print look rather than a traditional leopard pattern, which makes it feel stylish without being over-the-top.Overall, these are comfortable, supportive, and very well-made swim briefs that feel more premium than a lot of similarly priced options.Pros: comfortable fit; athletic-friendly leg openings; stylish Lunar Leopard printCons: runs slightly roomy compared to other styles
These swim briefs have some really unique and colorful patterns that definitely stand out at the pool or beach. The material feels lightweight, holds up well in the water, and dries off pretty quickly once you get out.Just a heads-up on the sizing, though—they definitely run a bit small. They have an incredibly tight, compressed fit, so there isn't much wiggle room or breathing room in the seat at all. If you aren't looking for a super snug, tight fit while you're walking around or swimming, you will absolutely want to size up at least one or two sizes. It features a reliable drawstring right at the front, which is great for tying them tight so they actually stay put when you dive in. Aside from the intensely close cut, they hold their color well after washing.
